Support Workers visit people in their own homes to develop a support plan agreeing goals to be achieved until such a time that the person no longer needs support. The worker then "floats" away. Young people tell us that the Floating Support Service really works for them at a time of significant transition when an extra bit of support makes all the difference.

Getting your own place for the first time can be a bit daunting if you don't know your way round the system. Our team of Floating Support Workers help young people who are moving into their own house or flat with anything from sorting out the electricity, learning about budgeting, finding out about benefits or how to cook a meal for themselves.
